Red Rings of Death.
It happens right before the July 4th weekend. Miserable timing. I filed a repair request the next day and they’re sending me a box as of this post. I bought this system the day before Halo 3 launched (which was in September?). The manufacture date on it says “2007-08-01″. So it hasn’t hit a year yet since it was manufactured and since I powered it on back in September. I didn’t really have any problems with any of my systems. ‘Cept maybe the Dreamcast but that was totally my fault and maybe Phantasy Star Online ver.2′s poor optimization on the disc.
Anyway, I’m a bit surprised that this kind of problem is still occurring. Yeah, 3 year warranty is good but I shouldn’t have to worry about this kind of thing under normal operation. If it weren’t for the amount of money I spent on Rock Band DLC, I wouldn’t even bother with the 360 anymore.
