I went to the House of Blues this past Tuesday to catch The Vettes, Lady Gaga, Metro Station, and Gavin Degraw. The Vettes were awesome (they’re actually from around here). Lady Gaga put on an awesome show. I had doubts of her performing live but she can actually sing. I enjoyed her performance a lot. I’m not a huge fan of Metro Station so I sat back and enjoyed the surroundings for their entire gig. It explains why I don’t have any pictures of them haha. By the time Gavin Degraw came out, we were already tired. We left two songs in but I would assume his performance was good too.

The Vettes!

Lady Gaga and her crew come on stage. She’s wearing some LED glasses while the rest of the crew wear LED shirts. Very awesome performance.

And now for my cupcake post.

I was out and about today and thought I’d drop by my favorite local T-shirt shop, Dirty Coast. Took me awhile to get there since there was mad traffic on the bridge I was crossing. Anyway, as usual, I buy a shirt. There was this talk about a new cupcake place that just opened right next door to them. I thought “Hey, might as well check it out while I’m here.” To be more honest, I was like “Fuck, I can go for some fuckin’ cupcakes.”
The place is called Bee Sweet Cupcakes. Not the most original name in the world but it was a nice, if a little small, shop. Logo is fairly simple but it gets the message across… I like it. Even though they’re fairly new, they’re getting popular fast. A friend told me she tried to get some once but there was a sign that said they were sold out and was told to come back the next day. When I came in, there were a handful left so my little sister and I each chose one. Verdict: Excellent. The one I had was a bit sugary sweet but good nonetheless. I’ll definitely come back.
