RB2 Stratocaster
Hooray! I finally get the new Rock Band 2 guitar. Let’s see how it holds up compared to the old one.

One thing I really noticed while playing with it is that the strum bar feels incredibly awesome compared to the old stratocaster. It has less travel and overall “feels” better.
As for the fret buttons, they’re not that much quieter but its certainly less “clacky-er”. I had a tough time actually pressing them down but I guess I need to break them in first. Auto-calibration is a good thing if you have those audio and video delays.

First thing you’ll notice that it now has a sunburst body and faux woodgrain neck and head. Oh yeah, its wireless.

Sensors
If you look closer, it has sensors to help with calibration

Tool-less battery compartment
Toolless battery compartment. No more screws to mess with. Then again, I had the wired guitar

Comparison shot. They’re both the same size.

Stickers
It comes with huge stickers. I like stickers.

So should you replace that old stratocaster that you have now? Hard to say but if you have the cash, pick it up. Also, if you hated the original guitar, you’ll probably still hate it here.
