So I go to check my facebook page this morning (yes, I have a facebook account), and see that I’m not automatically logged in. No biggie. It happens from time to time. So I log in and it says my account was disabled. Puzzled, I try to log in again. It was probably some browser hiccup I thought. Again, same message.
Well, apparently I was using a “fake” name. I put “Donkey” right beside my real name and I guess it wasn’t cool with them. Though I find it odd that they would do this to me now since I was always listed that way since forever, so I thought it was OK. Also, they didn’t even give me any warnings prior to the situation. I’m not really an active facebook user but I do use it to keep in contact with friends and family.
And did this really deserve a post? Probably not, but hey this is my blog so I can write anything I want. If you want meaningful information, fine. Expect next mix set soon =) Bass in the place!
Update: As of 2.23.09, they reinstated my account.
Here’s the reason that they gave me:
“Unfortunately, due to a glitch in our system, your account was temporarily suspended. However, we have reactivated your account and you should be able to access it now. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Let me know if you have further questions or issues.”
mmmm… yeah. Glitch.
