Yeahhhh… Electro breaks baby.
Yeahhhh… Electro breaks baby.

As you may have noticed, there were a few changes made to the portal and blog. It is my attempt to unify the site as a whole. Other pages will follow. My portfolio will be cleaned up a bit. A separate “about” page will be added instead being a part of the blog. My resume will also be posted just in case someone is *ahem* hiring. There’s a few kinks I still need to iron out.
And if you really have a keen eye, you would notice that my default logo no longer has the headphones on. This does not mean I’m putting DJ-ing behind me. I just needed to make my logo a little more universal. I’m not just all about the music you know. This decision was made after a critique at school.
Something interesting I noticed after I updated wordpress. I had 700+ comments that still needed moderating! Of course most of it was spam, but there were a handful that were legit comments. Sorry to those comments I didn’t approve until now. It’s probably too late anyway. Kinda funny that it didn’t show up before I updated.
That’s it for now and stay tuned. Perhaps I shouldn’t update bit by bit and wait until everything is done lol.

Any T-shirts I have designed that was going to be put up on Zazzle will be put on hold (including work-in-progress ones). I have taken down the Evolution shirt from my Zazzle store and submitted the design to Threadless for a chance for it to get screen-printed. I originally wanted this design to be screen printed so this is a good opportunity. The catch here is that it goes through critique first (then scored) before it gets chosen for print. This is a very awesome idea in my opinion. I do get paid if it gets chosen for print but that’s not the point here. I know it seems that I’m whoring out this design but I really want people to have this shirt but not when its digitally printed. There’s an upcoming design that I’m working on that I think people will like. It will also be featured as my next album art.
Also, thanks to those who really liked that last mixed set I did. I promise to keep churning out those mixes as long as you guys keep listening.

DJ Donkey
When I Was Your Age

02 Baymont Bross – Kingston
03 Hardwaks feat. MC Flipside – Destination Planet Bass
04 Defkline & Hammerstix – Universal Mind Control (Booty Breaks Mix)
05 Sporty O feat. Keith Mac – Guestlist (Keith Mackenzie & Fixx vs Angel Alanis Original Mix)
06 Crisp Biscuit – Night & Day
07 Beat Assassins vs. Joe Budden – Pump It Up
08 Brothers of Funk – You & Me
09 Cosmonaut & Satellites – Sunrise (Fonarev & Melodica Remix)
10 Seth Vogt feat. Maraya – Leave Me Lonely (Fretwell Mix)
11 The Flashback Project – Masterplan (Ravebreaks Vip Mix)
12 C83 feat. Liz Melody – When We Were Young
Oh yeah, that’s the next design I have lined up for shirts. It won’t have any text on the bottom or the “donkey” tag on the character’s shirt. Should be what they call, “sweet”. And after listening to the mix again, I noticed I didn’t tag anything at the end on the tracked version like I usually do. But you guys can live without it right?

UPDATE: The shirt is up for scoring @ threadless. If demand is there, they will print the shirt.

Now that I learned how to easily build websites on Dreamweaver, I think its time for me to redesign my home page since its pretty bare right now. And if time permits, I will rebuild the blog from the ground up. Also, I will try to get some new designs for my zazzle store on a regular basis. Until I get the funds, the shirts will have to be digitally printed instead of screen printed for now. Everything else should come out decent enough. Next mix set will be coming soon. Not sure how soon but I got some pretty bomb ass tracks to fill it up with.
