Hello, my name is Dung "Donkey" Nguyen

I am a graphic designer & illustrator from New Orleans, LA. Currently, I am doing a bit of freelancing while also doing part time work for Think Tank Marketing and Eiffel Society. My workstation includes an aging 1st generation MacBook that I bought in 2006 (it still works!) and a custom built quad-core i5 PC paired with the very clicky but awesome Das Keyboard and a Logitech Mouse (M510). I do not use a tablet.

Yes, people really do call me that

My nickname really is "Donkey". Unfortunately, there's no interesting story behind it. If you really must know, my cousin called me "Donkey" one day and it stuck. That's it. Honest. See? pretty boring. As to why he called me that, he doesn't know or even recall. Of course, that didn't stop my friends from making up stories about how I got it. However, "donkeybeatz" came about when I was trying to come up with a better DJ name than "DJ Donkey" (I mix music in my free time). I now mainly use "donkeybeatz" as my design alias.
